Webinar: Technical Assistance - How to Register my Campus/District as an ATEF with NCCER



CTE instruction aims at developing foundational skills, core workplace competencies, and specific skill competencies in various occupational areas. Internships, practicums, cooperative education, school-based enterprises, dual enrollment programs, and apprenticeships are a few venues that deliver CTE by providing meaningful opportunities for leaners to apply their academic and technical skills. We serve the career and education community through targeted support for CTE compliance, program development and implementation with rigor and relevancy; bridging with postsecondary education and industry partners to build a global workforce, quality education programs and 21st century learners.

Note: This session will take place in the form of a webinar (zoom sessions). Participants must have a desktop, laptop or Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection. Active participation of various forms will be required during the session in order to obtain course credit.

This technical assistance session with Patty Bird, Director of Workforce Development with NCER, will help school districts working under ESC-20 as their ATS (Accredited Training Sponsor) to better understand how to register themselves as an STEF ( Accredited Training Educational Facility). Ms. Bird will help school district to better understand what forms need to be completed and what inspections must be completed. Time will be allotted for questions and answers related to effective use of the NCCER system
