This presentation is Part2 in a 3-Part Series. The Alamo
Colleges District is committed to enrolling students for success by
implementing a holistic enrollment coaching approach. Enrollment Coaches
guide students through the enrollment steps from the first “Hello” to the point
of registration and beyond. They engage with prospective students to
identify the potential student’s life situation, financial obstacles, family
responsibilities, as well as their strengths, academic abilities, and career
opportunities. Discover how Career Coach, an online career exploration
tool, helps students explore career interests, search Alamo Colleges programs
and connect to live job postings. Career Coach is used by K-12 and Higher
Education Institutions to align students from High School Endorsements to
AlamoINSTITUTES. Take a glimpse at how Career Coach’s mobile-friendly site
empowers student with a simple 6 question assessment and local employment data
to discover an interest based career choice.
