This workshop provides spinal screening certification, a requirement of the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), for individuals responsible for scoliosis screening in school aged students. Spinal certification is valid for five years. Information and techniques to train teachers and staff will be provided.
Classes are for those who have spinal certifications expiring this year through December 31st.
If your certification has already expired, or if you need to be certified for the first time, you will only be given a Provisional Certification which will expire on 12/31/21. You will need to take a recertification class in 2021 before your provisional certification expires.
