TOPP Candidates will be introduced to lesson preparation. Sessions set up in flipped-classroom learning which provide pre-activities to be completed prior to attending in-class training. Within the traditional class setting candidates will be introduced to the TEKS of their content area of certification to design and deliver lessons.
TOPP candidates will create, present and submit to their permanent file an original lesson plan designed using one of the two lesson plan models.

IDD 7 – Lesson Beginning – Get Better Faster
IDD 8 – Lesson Middle – Get Better Faster
IDD 9 – Lesson End – Get Better Faster
IDD 10 – Candidate Lesson Presentations w/ Coaching feedback
