Important Session Information:

Looking for some motivation? Register for "Understanding Reinforcement: Behavior Goes Where Reinforcement Flows"!

When discussing the importance of reinforcement sometimes we comment that reinforcement doesn’t work because there is nothing that the child finds to be reinforcing.  Often this is not accurate; there are lots of potential reinforcers but children may be receiving them for free!

In this Zoom session, we will cover the basics of the role of reinforcement in the development of skills and decreasing interfering behaviors. We will focus on the importance of contingency and how to apply it in the natural environment. Finally, we will also cover the development of reinforcers that can be implemented in your classroom.

Participants must have a desktop, laptop or Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection.

Active participation of various forms will be required during the session in order to obtain course credit.

You will receive a confirmation email from Connect20. Be sure to check your spam or junk mail for the email which will contain your login instructions.

If you do not receive a confirmation email, call Central Registration 210-370-5671 for assistance during business hours 8 am - 4:30 pm.
