The Alamo STEM Workforce Coalition and ATEAMS (Alliance for Technology Education in Applied Math and Science) partners with local industry to provide opportunities for teachers to see the relevance of what is being taught in the classroom and connect it to the real world. This is accomplished by coordinating virtual and face to face industry visits then providing training and TIME to create a lesson plan based on the visits and connecting to the required TEKS of the class.
