Important Session Information:


Texas A&M University and the Project Tackling Autism via Paraprofessional Preparation (TAPP) are excited to provide professional development for paraprofessionals working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder!

Participants will receive PD workshops in Autism and related interventions, personalized follow-up support, and feedback. Participants should plan to attend all 3 days. The workshops will include:

  • Introduction to ASD and ABA

  • Responding to Problem Behavior

  • Motivation vs. Skill Deficits

  • Promoting Independence

  • Communication

  • Creative and Small Group Instruction
