WEBINAR: When you hear Depth of Knowledge (DOK) one often thinks of high stakes summative assessment; DOK is not only for STAAR assessments. Depth of Knowledge was developed to assist teachers in the designing of instruction, addressing formative assessments. Humans are task-driven organisms, not verb-driven; therefore, our instruction should mirror that fact. Here educators will learn how to take what they currently have and adjust it to meet students at their levels while still working towards student mastery of the standard(s). This session is applicable for K-12 teachers.
This session will take place in the form of a webinar. Participants must have a desktop, laptop or Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection. Active participation of various forms will be required during the session in order to obtain course credit.
