Part 1: Overview of Dyslexia Intervention for General and Special Educators
What really takes place in dyslexia intervention? How can I support my students or help provide specially designed instruction if I really don’t understand what the dyslexia teacher is doing? Participants will receive an overview of the components of a dyslexia intervention program that meets the criteria outlined in the Dyslexia Handbook, 2018 Update and see some of these put in action during a dyslexia lesson.
Intended Audience: individuals who do not have a background in dyslexia intervention (general educators, special educators, ARD facilitators, administrators).
This is a required prerequisite to SPDI/SDI Basics and How to Specially Design Dyslexia Instruction for those who do not have a background in dyslexia intervention.
