Food Service Contracts

ESC-20, Food and Nutrition Services provide training and technical assistance to local contracting entities in the operation and administration of Child Nutrition.

Important Session Information:

A contracting entity (CE) may procure a food service contractor to support the CE in its food service operation. However, in all cases and with all contracts, the CE is still responsible for ensuring that the program is operated effectively and in compliance with all applicable regulations.

This session will provide guidance to assist CEs in the procurement of and management of the food service contracts for School Nutrition Programs (SNPs), including National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Afterschool Care Program (ASCP), and Seamless Summer Option (SSO).

**This training will be offered as a hybrid session.  Participants will have the option to join us in-person at the ESC or virtually via Zoom.   Zoom link will be emailed upon registration.**
