ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance to programs serving students who are deaf or hard of hearing, including assisting programs meet the unique needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing across the continuum of placement options.

Important Session Information:


This session focuses on strategies to enhance language development for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Participant will look at expectations for development in both American Sign Language and English as well as ways in which to move students through the linguistic stages of development. Evidence-based practices and tools to guide development will be discussed.
