Important Session Information:

2021-2022 Professional Development Series Cooperative: $0.00

Paraprofessionals are often asked to take data collection as a common job duty, but this process can seem confusing and sometimes even intimidating to those new to the expectation.  This session is appropriate for special education paraprofessionals who would like to develop a greater understanding of the "why and how" of data collection.

In this session participants will:

  • Review the purpose behind data collection and its connection to the student's individualized education program (IEP)
  • Identify common data collection tools
  • Discuss common challenges to data collection
  • Practice data collection methods
