Behavior & Discipline
(Zoom) Acclimating Students Back to In-person Learning After an Extended Period of Online Learning

ESC-20 provides training, technical assistance, and resources to help schools positively change student behavior and improve student achievement.

Important Session Information:

Changes to instruction caused by COVID, including not being able to attend class in person, have led current students to have reduced experiences in classroom expectations or expected classroom behaviors. While educators work to regain normalcy in the classroom, we must reestablish expectations that also meet students where they are. During this session, we will explore optimal interventions to help students adapt to in-person learning and reclaim a sense of normalcy in the classroom setting. Best practices will be reviewed that help define appropriate expectations in the classroom while helping students meet their basic needs.

This session will take place in the form of a Zoom session. Participants must have a desktop, laptop or Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection. Active participation of various forms will be required during the session in order to obtain course credit. You will receive a confirmation email from Connect20.

Be sure to check your spam or junk mail for the email which will contain your login instructions. If you do not receive a confirmation email, call Central Registration 210-370-5671 for assistance during business hours 8 am - 4:30 pm.
