Work Based Learning -Preparing Students with Disabilities for Vocational Success



ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance to district transition contacts and vocational adjustment coordinators in the development and implementation of effective transition services and inter-agency collaboration.

Students who receive modifications to their curriculum will graduate under Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Section 89.1070(b)(3)(b), which states students need to have skills necessary to obtain and retain employment.  These skills related to graduation need to be documented in the student's IEP.

This session will discuss data collection for students who are in a work based learning program on campus or attending a job site. 

This session will offer strategies to help document and show mastery of these goals for students to gain employment after graduation.
