Important Session Information:

This virtual session details the responsibilities local educational agencies (LEAs) have to provide parental outreach training and activities to English learners (ELs), immigrant students, and their families. More specifically, how the Title III, Part A-funded LEAS are required to provide supplemental community participation programs, services, and training. It is important that LEAs offer a variety of activities that are designated to support academic achievement. Participants will receive a Guiding and Planning Companion tool.

Furthermore, participants will also receive training on Family Engagement and Community Engagement Resource Tools. The resource tools provide planning documents and specific examples of activities LEAs and ESCs may implement to support family engagement and community engagement using their Title III, Part A funds.
