Important Session Information:

In this one-hour long virtual session we will examine how a classroom culture of inclusion is established. Inclusive practices secure opportunities for students with disabilities to learn alongside their non-disabled peers through strategic planning and supports.

Participants will,

  • Develop a personal philosophy of inclusion
  • Identify what are and what are not inclusive practices
  • Analyze the role inclusive practices have on providing specialized instruction for students who are receiving special education supports
  • Discover the spectrum of inclusive models

This session is appropriate for special education teachers, general education teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators and anyone else interested in building inclusive educational environments

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with detailed information on accessing the live zoom session.

Participants will need access to an electronic device that will allow the use of Zoom. We ask that all participants plan to have their computer camera on and participate via the chat and breakout room features.
