Introduction to Tobii Dynavox and Funding Procedures



ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance for all areas of Assistive Technology. An assistive technology lab is available for previewing assistive technology equipment and/or checking out devices for evaluation purposes.

Important Session Information:


This is an online session.

This course is applicable to parents, teachers, therapists, caregivers, and anyone who supports an AAC user and wants to know the process of getting an AAC device.


As a result of this presentation, the participant will be able to complete the following:

1. What are the different types of funding sources

2. How to start the process of getting an AAC device

3. What are the different types of devices and software Tobii Dynavox offer

This program has been submitted for approval of 1 clock hour of continuing education credit by the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing-Association (TSHA). TSHA approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedures.

If there are handouts, they will distributed via a link to a Google Drive sent to your email before the training so that you may have the option to print it prior to the training. Please bring your device if you choose to view the handouts electronically.
