I have my ESL certification, now what?

Sheltered Instruction is a strategic approach to teaching English learners that allows learners to understand content as they develop language proficiency. This training will focus on the importance of Krashen’s theory of Second Language Acquisition, Proficiency Level Descriptors, and English Language Proficiency standards. In addition, this training offers you a wealth of practical strategies for enhancing student instruction.

*Sheltered Instruction 101 is part of a 3-series training to include Sheltered Instruction 201 & Sheltered Instruction 301. They do not have to be taken in sequential order.
