Sheltered instruction is an essential component of any program for English learners. Sheltered Instruction delivers language rich, grade-level content area instruction in English in a manner that is comprehensible to the learners. This session will focus on fundamental components of SI including content & and language objectives, sentence stems, and instructional strategies.
*Sheltered Instruction 201 is part of a 3-series training to include Sheltered Instruction 101 & Sheltered Instruction 301. They do not have to be taken in sequential order.
