The Developmental Profile 4 (DP-4) is designed to assess the development and functioning of individuals from birth through age 21 years, 11 months. The DP-4 is administered as a direct interview of a parent or caregiver, as a checklist completed by a parent/caregiver or teacher, or as a rating form completed by the clinician. In this workshop, participants will learn how to incorporate DP-4 results when evaluating secondary students with more complex needs and the applicability of these results in constructing transition plans, summary of performance, and vocational evaluations. Use of the DP-4 when conducting Review of Existing Evaluation Data (REED) will also be explored. Participants will learn how to make individualized, secondary student specific recommendations in their evaluations.
