For some students, showing what they know can be a real challenge due to limited or very faint mobility. As teachers and therapists, it can be equally difficult to determine what these students need or are trying to express--but there's hope!
Assistive technology can be the bridge that connects these students to the world around them, but it can sometimes be a challenge to know as the educational team which equipment is most appropriate for each unique student.
This workshop will review different types of assistive technology switches and protocols for conducting a switch evaluation.
