ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance for teachers of students with disabilities ages 3-5 years (birth - 5 years for students with visual and/or hearing impairments).

Important Session Information:


Visually Speaking is a four-day training that provides an intensified look at the principles of structured teaching in order to maximize the success of students with special needs in current and future environments. Participants will experience a rare training opportunity to learn with and from students that have autism and other special needs. 

Day 1: Classroom Organization and Structure

Day 2: Visual Supports and Communication Tools

Day 3: Implementation with Students and revisions

Day 4: Implementation with Students and Action Plan for Participants

This session will transform the instructional practices of participants which will prove to positively impact student learning in the classroom!  

PLEASE NOTE:

Session location to be determined.

*This is a multi-day session. Participants must attend all four days in order to receive credit.
