G/T 6 hour update - Differentiation Practices for G/T Students High School (Poteet ISD)



The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


Differentiation Practices for students can is an essential practice in meeting the needs of G/T students in the general classroom. Although this process is a high yield differentiation practice, it can be a stressful experience for students when it becomes more work. Come explore strategies that you can add to your toolkit when working with this special population to bring out the best of your students and be more efficient with your time.

This session is only for High School educators in Poteet ISD and will take place in the High School Cafeteria
