Strategies for increased comprehension and understanding for gifted learners as well as strugglers will be shared in this session. The focus will be on explicit instruction, which transfers the responsibility of learning from the teacher to the student. Practicing these strategies in this session will demonstrate the effectiveness of reciprocal teaching.
This session is for educators from Kerrville ISD. Opens to all districts June 1.
This session will be a Zoom session from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM. There will be a product component that will be submitted to complete your 6 hour credit. You will be receiving a Zoom Pre-Registration Link. Please fill out with your District E-mail.
The documents and submissions will be through Google Classroom on the day of the session. It is highly recommended to have your personal Google Account ready in the event that you are not able to join with your District E-mail.
NOTE: This session can count for a G/T Day 4, Day 5 or 6-Hour Update if not previously taken.
