Important Session Information:

2021-2022 Self-Assessment Requirements:

  • The Special Education Self-Assessment application will open on May 2, 2022. The deadline for submitting the required 7 Compliance/Strategy items will be September 30, 2022.

This session is the presentation of the TEA Review and Support Division training for completing the Special Education Self-Assessment that is required annually of all districts and charters. While similar to last year's training, this year an emphasis on using the areas prioritized in the self-assessment as activities in the 2022 Strategic Support Plan that will be due next fall, has been added. This perspective is meant to support the LEA's in maintaining a proactive and consistent approach to continuous improvement activities.

Upon registration completion you will receive an email confirmation that will contain the ZOOM link to join this session. An email reminder will also be sent 1-2 days prior to the scheduled training.
