Professional development for school counselors is aligned with the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs and supports work in the four service delivery components: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support.


 


Important Session Information:


Join us for this half-day session on SB 179. After a review of the legislation, participants will discuss examples of activities that fit into the four components of a Comprehensive School Counseling Program as well as fair share duties and non-counseling tasks. Participants will leave with a tool and instructions for completing a time study to help evaluate their program.
