Attend this introductory session developed by the TIER statewide initiative in collaboration with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to receive an overview of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Framework. During this virtual 60-minute session one will gain knowledge of the benefits of working within an MTSS framework, and understand the relationship between MTSS and Response to Intervention (RTI), Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and other school programs. We will review the foundational components that make up MTSS, including commonalities and distinctions among the different tiers and key considerations for making your MTSS model a success.
This session is appropriate for general education teachers, special education teachers, administrators and anyone else interested in learning more about the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Framework.
