Important Session Information:

This introductory session developed by the TIER statewide initiative in collaboration with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) presents three important student-centered approaches to learning within the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS): explicit instruction, universal design for learning (UDL), and the interconnected systems framework (ISF).  Participants will learn the basics of each approach and the different ways they support students.

This session is appropriate for general education teachers, special education teachers, administrators and anyone else interested in learning more about the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Framework. This session is 90-minutes and offered virtually.

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with detailed information on accessing the live zoom session.

Participants will need access to an electronic device that will allow the use of Zoom. We ask that all participants plan to have their computer camera on and participate via the chat and breakout room features.
