Part of our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) leadership team series developed by the TIER Statewide Initiative in collaboration with the Texas Education Agency, this session provides instructional leaders with information related to developing and implementing an assessment plan within the MTSS framework. Our focus will be on exploring the information one will need to create an effective assessment plan including choosing assessments, administration of assessments, needed training for staff, and scheduling assessment calendar. Additional learning objectives include managing data, using the data at the campus level to help with decisions on individual student movement through tiered supports, and how teachers can be supported to utilize data within classrooms.
This session 2 1/2-hour virtual session is appropriate for administrators, specialists, coordinators, counselors and anyone else who may find themselves supporting the implementation of MTSS at the campus or district level.
