The new school year may look a little different than we planned, but the lessons we’ve learned in the past year have prepared our CTE teachers to adjust quickly. Our teachers have learned many new skills and new strategies to help their students be successful. As we celebrate these new skills, we must also recognize the additional duties, assignments, and stressors added to our teachers already full teaching load.
Coaches and mentors play an integral role to help both new and veteran CTE teachers, learn to apply basic coaching skills to help them learn to reflect on teaching and improve their practice.
This 1-1/2 day training opportunity is designed to assist our coaches/mentors with strategies to expand and enhance their coaching skills in support of the teachers with whom they will partner.
