ASCENDER SIS Consultant PD - 2 Day Session
Day 1 - April 21, 2022/1:00 PM - 4:00 PM; Registration Attendance Zones - What is it and how can I use it?
We will explain what Attendance Zones are, what they are used for, and demonstrate the steps of setting up Attendance Zones for a district. Attendees will then go through the set up in their test environment.
Day 2 - April 22, 2022/8:30 AM - 11:30 AM; Set Up the Foundation to Succeed and Build a Future for Students in Graduation Plan
Learn about the Graduation Plan application and how to create graduation plans, add courses to plans, assign plans to students, select course requests, and create Personal Graduation Plans. Attendees will then take what they have learned and apply it in their test environment.
This session will require participants bring or have the following: Your own laptop, test environment for practice in, a .csv or .txt file that contains the street information in your test environment as this will be used in the practice portion (see the online training guide for the file format).
Prerequisite: Familiarity with the basic features of the ASCENDER Student system.
