The Texas Computer Cooperative (TCC) is a statewide cooperative of 19 Texas Education Service Centers (ESCs).  The TCC has been providing high quality, compliant, comprehensive business and student software and support to Texas LEAs for over 50 years.  The TCC product, ASCENDER, is used by 885 LEAs in Texas to empower LEAs to make informed decisions and engage stakeholders through powerful tools and applications.  The TCC operates only in Texas, serving Texas schools through Regional Education Service Centers.

ASCENDER SIS Consultant PD - 2 Day Session

Day 1- June 2, 2022/1:00 PM - 4:00 PM; TeacherPortal & Discipline: From Referrals to Incidents and Everything In Between

Learn about how teachers create Discipline Referrals in TeacherPortal, and the processes performed in ASCENDER Discipline by Campus Discipline Approvers to create Discipline Incidents. We will also have an overview of the Discipline application.

Day 2- June 3, 2022/8:30 AM - 11:30 AM; TeacherPortal: All Things Skills-Based Report Cards

We will set up Skills-Based skill sets, skills, and grade level report cards as a District Administrator in TeacherPortal. Then learn the different screens used by Skills-Based Teachers and generate Skills-Based Report Cards.

This session will take place in-person only. Participants will need their computer and access to a test database.

Prerequisite: Familiarity with the basic features of the ASCENDER Student system.
