American Heart Association CPR/AED for Healthcare Professionals Basic Life Support (BLS)



ESC-20 School Health Program provides training and technical assistance to school districts in the comprehensive development of health programs. 
 


Important Session Information:


Basic Life Support courses are designed for healthcare professionals and provide training on the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.  This course is intended for individuals working in a healthcare role at their campus, primarily Nurses.

*** Note*** If you are a clinic aid that also works in a hospital, this class is for you.

If you are a clinic aid that only works in the school clinic, the First Aid/CPR class is better for you. There are skills in this BLS class you will not be expected to perform in the schools, but will in a hospital.
