In this interactive training you will be building upon your understanding of the Depth and Complexity mindset of instruction by utilizing the Content Imperatives. Based on the research of Dr. Sandra Kaplan, these rigor-increasing, engagement-enhancing thinking tools. Be prepared to enhance your lessons with new tools designed for student centered inquiry and discussion. Your G/T Students will be given the essential tools to take ownership of their learning with you as the Facilitator of Instruction. It is recommended that you have taken G/T Day 4 – Depth and Complexity before attending this session.
This session will be from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM in an interactive Zoom. You will be provided with a final task that you will have to complete for credit. This will result in 3 hours of credit towards a G/T 6 hour update. We will be offering different 3 hour Zoom sessions throughout the school year to allow you to complete your 6 hour update for the 2021-2022 school year.
