Use of Quality Data to Drive Instruction

Important Session Information:

This session will discuss data collection for students who are in a work based learning program on campus or attending a job site. In addition, we will discuss strategies to assist in documentation to show mastery of goals and how to focus on gainful employment after graduation.

This session will also guide in understanding that students who receive modifications to their curriculum will graduate under Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Section 89.1070(b)(3)(a)(b), which states students need to have skills necessary to obtain and retain employment. In order to meet these requirements the skills related to graduation need to be documented in the student's IEP.
