This 2-day session focuses on teachers newly certified as teachers for students with visual impairments. Day 1 will focus on beginning of the year procedures, data collection system, assessments, IEP documentation required for the student and Guidelines and Standards for Educating Students with Visual Impairments. Day 2 will focus on VI Registration, data collection, Expanded Core Curriculum, ECI procedures and finalizing the year.
