Heartsaver courses are designed for lay responders and provide training on basic CPR, AED, & First Aid skills. Families, caregivers and parents also benefit from this training not only to gain knowledge but to be better prepared should the need arise to use any of the basic skills this course teaches. Content established by the American Heart Association for certification in First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and Automated External Defibrillation will be taught by video instruction with hands on skills demonstration. Participants will receive an American Heart Association certification card and book for completion of the course.
