Important Session Information:

Evidence-based practices have been scientifically proven to increase student outcomes.  However, there can be hurdles to including these practices into instruction.  In this 1 hour session we will discuss the different criteria required for identifying the level of effectiveness of ELAR practices and programs, share online resources where one can find research-based and evidence-based practices for ELAR in both elementary and secondary, and review recommended strategies.

This session is appropriate for both elementary and secondary general education and special education teachers, content specialists, academic deans, and certified staff whose role is related to improving student academic performance in ELAR.

Please access the session with a device that allows you to fully participate in discussion and collaborative activities with other participants and the instructor.  Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email that includes the zoom link to join the session.  If you do not receive confirmation, please first check your spam or junk email.  With any questions, please contact Michelle Candland at mcandland@esc20.net.
