This dynamic virtual 3-hour content specific session has been designed to support the facilitation of specially designed instruction (SDI) for students serviced within the framework of the general education classroom or a similarly based environment throughout the special education continuum of services including resource. Participants will learn how to design lessons to include specific instructional strategies to support students in math in order to increase progress towards math IEP goals and objectives. These research-based strategies will cast a wide net around student populations who receive intervention making them applicable to the likelihood of positive student outcomes amongst diverse student needs. The format of the session includes time for application and lesson planning with the support of the instructor.

In Person - Math Instructional Strategies to Support Inclusion Session #83601
This session has been designed to meet the needs of both elementary and secondary general education and special education teachers who deliver math instruction to students within inclusive and resource settings. Please plan to access the session with a device that allows you to be fully engaged to discussion and collaboration with other participants and the instructor. Participants will require access to any materials and student paperwork one would need to affectively utilize time provided within the session for lesson planning and specially designed instruction.
