Important Session Information:


Are you having student behavior challenges and are not sure what to do next to turn things around? Come join us in this session where we will 1) compare and contrast information, impact, and interventions for diverse learners, 2) consider the significance of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), resiliency, and Social Emotional Learning (SEL), 3) explore trauma informed care, rituals, and routines, and 4) reflect on de-escalation strategies that work to improve outcomes. Walk away with strategies and interventions to implement the very next day.

This training is in alignment with the following 2022 Special Education Self-Assessment Domains to support your Local Education Agency's (LEA) efforts to evaluate and improve your educational program serving students with disabilities receiving special education services: Domains 2-Intervention, 16 &17- Disproportionality, 19-Behavior, and 20-Behavior Intervention Plans. This session will take place in the form of a Zoom session. Participants must have a desktop, laptop or Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection. Active participation of various forms will be required during the session in order to obtain course credit. You will receive a confirmation email from Connect20.
