College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) is a hot topic among high school educators, but it begins the moment little ones step foot in schools for the first time. In this session, we will define CCMR, discuss its role in our accountability system, and examine the content area of Post-Secondary Planning and Career Readiness in the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs as it applies to elementary and middle school students. Participants will leave with ideas and strategies to increase CCMR on their campuses.
