Why
Is Employee Development Important?
Research indicates that employers who invest in staff development help their employees hone strengths and grow skills, which better equips them for their current roles. This adds more value to the work they do and directly benefits your school district. Investing in the development of employees is the most important and rewarding thing a manager can do. For some reason, though, it’s often the last thing on a manager’s “to do” list. Finding great talent is hard, but what’s even more challenging is keeping the talent you have engaged so they will stay. In this session you will be provided with strategies that can help you build and develop your staff.
Session will be taught by Richard Alvarado, PhD, former Executive Director with ESC-2. Dr. Alvarado currently serves as an Executive Coach working with clients to create transformational breakthroughs that enable the client to eliminate resistance and inner blocks, while helping the client identify core beliefs that hold them back and consciously redesign those beliefs so that it fuels them to work towards their potential.
