TEA is pleased to offer a series of professional learning modules for new administrators that develop their
capacity to facilitate quality Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.
Participants will gain valuable
knowledge, skills, and strategies in this training covering one (of four) key content areas:
Module 1 (of 4): Data-Driven Decision Making Using a CTE lens while maintaining relevance to the overall success of students, Data-Driven
Decision Making guides leaders to use facts, metrics, and data to guide strategic instructional
decisions that align with campus and district goals, objectives, and initiatives. Participants
will learn how to analyze multiple data sources, including College, Career, and Military
Readiness (CCMR) indicators, labor market information (LMI), and Comprehensive Local
Needs Assessment (CLNA) Summary and Supplemental Reports. At the end of this module,
participants will be prepared to integrate CTE into the overall environment of a data-driven
organization while engaging various stakeholders in the decision-making process
