ESC-20 provides professional development and technical assistance to support educators with implementation of the Social Studies TEKS, analyze data to enhance instructional practices to meet the needs of students, and provides targeted support to reach campus and district goals.

Important Session Information:


Social Studies is going through a "metamorphosis." Many of you Social Studies District Leaders/Coordinators are wanting to meet and work together on rolling out or preparing for the STAAR Redesign; writing, new item types, civics questions on EOC, CBA assessments, cross-curricular connections, SB3 PD, Civics, and other things on your plate.  Please fill this out and let me know if you're interested in coming together on Mondays from 1-4 throughout June of 2022. This collaboration will take place in person at Education Service Center Region 20 and is for Social Studies District Leaders/Coordinators ONLY.
