In this workshop, participants will explore how Depth and Complexity can be used as an asset for instruction when designing appropriate lessons for students. The Depth and Complexity Framework can be utilized to ensure appropriate engagement with the standards. The components allow for students to connect experiences from their funds of knowledge with the TEKS to help facilitate deeper and more purposeful understandings.
This sessions is exclusive to teachers from SWISD teaching grades K-2.
The session will take place in CAST STEM in the Cafeteria.
