This virtual session presented by attorney David Hodgins, Thompson & Horton LLP, will outline and discuss the key discipline rules and regulations affecting the discipline of students with disabilities resulting in short-term removals. From the "10-day rule" to what counts as a day. David Hodgins will cover the most important legal requirements, plus practical advice and illustrations. By attending this session, you will obtain a solid understanding of the dos and don'ts of disciplining students with disabilities regarding short term removals.
