Virtual: Intensive Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Foundation



ESC-20 provides training, technical assistance, and resources to help schools positively change student behavior and improve student achievement.
 


Important Session Information:


This session will provide each participant an intensive one-day foundational overview, as well as, knowledge, materials, and resources needed to begin to build a strong foundation for implementation of a Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework with fidelity based on a data-driven process.  This framework will enhance the adoption and implementation of a continuum of evidence-based practices and interventions to achieve academically and behaviorally important outcomes for all students. Interconnected Systems Framework (ISF) will be introduced.

This session will lead into a series of follow-up intensives that will focus on Partnering with Families and Social and Personal Competencies, Universal Examples of PBIS Implementation and Restorative Practices, Targeted PBIS Implementation and Trauma Sensitive Schools, and Intensive PBIS Implementation. It is highly recommended that you attend this session prior to the follow-up sessions.

This session will take place in the form of a Zoom session. Participants must have a desktop, laptop or Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection. Active participation of various forms will be required during the session in order to obtain course credit. You will receive a confirmation email from Connect20.
