The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is coordinating these two critical community safety workshops: Stop-the-Bleed, and Civilian Response to Active Shooter Event (CRASE).
Stop-the-Bleed training is endorsed by the American College of Surgeons and covers the essential life saving skills of tourniquet application and wound packing, and compresion.
CRASE training facilitates critical response and awareness that enables civilians to respond during threatening incidents by avoiding, denying, or defending against the threat.
