Are you a teacher in an ALE (Applied Learning Environment, Life Skills, Functional Living Unit, or similar self-contained classroom? This Professional Learning Community (PLC) is for you!
This LID PLC is intended to be a collaborative and learning space for any and all Region 20 teachers who serve students with severe cognitive disabilities and complex needs.
These guided virtual sessions will be a time for LID teachers to grow professionally, collaborate with peers, learn best practices for effectively teaching students with significant cognitive disabilities, as well as reflect and share their own teaching practices.
You will gain resources, strategies, training towards both academic and functional skills, as well as camaraderie and support from fellow LID peers and professionals!
