Visually Speaking is a four-day face to face training on June 19, 20, 21, 22, 2023. This session provides an in-depth look at the principles of structured teaching in order to maximize the success of students with special needs in current and future environments. Participants will experience a rare training opportunity to learn with and from students that have autism and other special needs. Visually Speaking is appropriate for new & veteran ECSE and Life Skills teachers, instructional assistants, and leaders who support ECSE/Life Skills settings.
Day 1: Classroom Organization and Structure
Day 2: Visual Supports and Communication Tools
Day 3: Implementation with students and revisions for Day 4
Day 4: Implementation with students and individualized Action Plans for participants
This session will transform the instructional practices of participants which will prove to positively impact student learning in the classroom!
